Resolving Custody Disputes with a Family Law Attorney

If you and your spouse are unable to agree on a parenting plan during divorce or your ex is longer abiding by the custody agreement, a family court lawyer can help. This does not mean you will be taking your spouse to court, though the option is available if negotiations fail. Often, the act of hiring an attorney and drafting a formal letter or requesting mediation is enough to work out an arrangement with your former spouse in most cases.
